Convenient sushi store

Friendly Fish just opened its doors this spring in Berlin Mitte, right in the beautiful area around Hackescher Markt. Specialized in modern interpretations of traditional sushi creations, this spot not only impresses with a convenient takeaway concept but also a wide range of vegetarian and vegan alternatives. For early birds, they also offer a selection of freshly topped bagels. Besides the innovative concept, their branding is an absolute eye-catcher.

"Because visuals and presentation play a huge role in Japan, the look of our packaging is a major theme for us."
Moritz Mary
Modern, clean, memorable - FRIENDLY FISH is printed in capital black letters on slim blue boxes with underwater illustrations. Easy to open due to the matchbox-like design. As an homage to Japan, the country where sushi was born, founder Moritz Mary prioritized aesthetics when coming up with the concept: "Because visuals and presentation play a huge role in Japan, the look of our packaging is a major theme for us.", he says. Apart from that, all boxes are made from sustainable materials. Their Mitte store is open for takeaway Monday to Friday between 8 am and 8 pm as well as on Saturdays from 11 am to 8 pm. If you're looking for a fashionable catering option, Friendly Fish can be booked for celebrations as well.
